An antique document spike,we have always used ones like this for our eftpos receipts,probably used once at a department or general store.
This one has an interesting cast metal base,the spike part unscrews from the base.
Approximately 185mm high,the spike isn't sharp and isn't perfectly straight but it is old,a lovely piece.
The old Bennet & Bain shop docket is included.
